Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and driven Product Manager to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our platform, focusing on new product initiatives that empower businesses worldwide. You will lead the full product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to execution and launch, working closely with engineering, design, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements for new features and products within the Stripe ecosystem.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and user needs.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, collaborating closely with design and engineering teams.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Communicate product updates, performance, and strategy to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Monitor and analyze product performance post-launch, iterating based on data and user feedback.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within a tech startup or fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to define and launch successful products that drive business value.
- Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, from discovery to market launch.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or a related industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Previous experience working on global products or platforms.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a dynamic environment.
