Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Admin Assistant to support our warehouse operations in Pasco, WA. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient workflows, accurate record-keeping, and seamless communication within our fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent administrative skills, and thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery receipts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software for data entry, report generation, and status updates.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding shipment status, inventory levels, and other logistics-related matters.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse activities and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments for pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Handle general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics administrative role.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience with data entry and report generation.
  • Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
