Job Description
Are you a student passionate about hospitality and eager to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of Food & Beverage? Hilton Worldwide invites enthusiastic and motivated students to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. This part-time role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their career in hotels, restaurants, or event catering, providing a foundational understanding of F&B operations in a world-class environment. You will support our existing F&B teams, learn best practices, and contribute to creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, banquet halls, and other F&B venues.
- Support wait staff and bartenders by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and ensuring clean and organized service areas.
- Learn and adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding to inquiries and fulfilling requests.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of F&B supplies as directed.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a high school or post-secondary program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous volunteer or paid experience in a customer service or hospitality setting (e.g., school cafeteria, local restaurant, community events).
- Enrollment in a hospitality or culinary arts program.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
