Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and adaptable Live-in Nanny to join our family in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This unique position offers the opportunity to travel extensively with the family, providing full-time care for our two children. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and emotionally intelligent individual who is passionate about child development and capable of maintaining a stimulating and stable environment amidst a dynamic travel schedule. This role requires a high degree of flexibility, discretion, and a genuine love for working with children.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for two children (ages 3 and 6), including daily routines, meals, hygiene, and age-appropriate activities.
- Plan and execute educational and engaging activities, both at home and while traveling, to foster intellectual and social development.
- Manage children's schedules, including school, extracurricular activities, and appointments.
- Assist with homework and school projects, promoting a love for learning.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary needs or restrictions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children's living and play areas.
- Pack and unpack children's belongings for travel, ensuring all necessities are met.
- Accompany the family on all domestic and international trips, providing continuous care and support.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children's progress, health, and daily activities.
- Promote positive behavior and reinforce family values and manners.
- Handle light household tasks related to the children, such as laundry and tidying their rooms.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional Nanny or in a similar childcare role (at least 2 years).
- Excellent understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities for preschool and early school-aged children.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and maintain routines during travel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- First Aid and CPR certification (adult and pediatric).
- Legal eligibility to work in the USA and travel internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience with international travel and managing children's needs across different time zones.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin).
- Experience working with high-profile families or within a family office setting.
- Strong swimming abilities.
