Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across our international network. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end logistics operations, optimize transportation processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, including ocean, air, and ground freight.
- Manage relationships with carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Track and resolve shipping issues, delays, and discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and potential challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with a global 3PL provider.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or other process improvement methodologies.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to global trade (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).
