Job Description

As a Pharmacy Floor Coordinator with a focus on Warehouse & Logistics, you will be a pivotal member of our distribution team in Huntington Beach. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy warehouse floor, ensuring efficient movement of pharmaceutical products, accurate inventory management, and strict adherence to regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with various departments, manage inventory flow, and support logistics processes to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring timely delivery of critical medications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., FDA, DEA), company policies, and safety standards.
  • Optimize workflow processes on the warehouse floor to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and mentor junior warehouse staff, providing guidance and support for operational tasks.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
  • Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and pharmacy teams to resolve issues and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Prepare daily reports on inventory, productivity, and operational metrics.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse and logistics operations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, preferably within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
  • Proven experience with inventory management systems and practices.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
