Job Description
We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team in Schaumburg, IL. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying client areas.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring proper nutrition.
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with safe ambulation and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Accurately document services provided and client observations.
Required Skills
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Illinois.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client care.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation to client homes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience as a Home Health Aide.
- Experience working with diverse client populations.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
