Job Description
Join the Planet Fitness team as a Gym Floor Host and be the friendly face that welcomes members and ensures a clean, safe, and positive environment on our gym floor. This entry-level role is perfect for high school students looking to gain valuable work experience, contribute to a fun community, and enjoy the added perk of free gym access!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with a positive and energetic attitude upon their arrival on the gym floor.
- Monitor the gym floor to ensure a clean, safe, and organized workout environment.
- Wipe down equipment regularly, replenish sanitization stations, and assist with general club cleanliness.
- Provide basic assistance to members regarding equipment location and general club policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Help maintain the Judgement Free Zone® by promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role (even volunteer).
- Interest in fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
