Job Description
Are you a meticulous and efficient individual with a knack for assembly? IKEA UK is seeking a dedicated IKEA Billy Bookcase Specialist with a strong focus on fast and accurate assembly for our Edinburgh operations. This role is crucial in ensuring our iconic Billy Bookcases are perfectly assembled, ready for display or direct delivery, meeting our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately assemble IKEA Billy Bookcases according to specifications and guidelines.
- Inspect all components for defects or missing parts before assembly.
- Ensure assembled products meet IKEA's quality standards and are free from damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily assembly targets and deadlines.
- Assist with inventory management related to assembly components.
- Provide feedback on assembly processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and proficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in furniture assembly, particularly flat-pack items.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and diagrams accurately.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move furniture components.
