Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a dynamic part-time job that fits your evening and weekend schedule? Texas Roadhouse in New Port Richey is seeking enthusiastic and friendly High School Hosts/Hostesses to join our team! As the first and last impression for our guests, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a legendary dining experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable customer service skills, work in a fast-paced and supportive environment, and earn great tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and a genuine welcome as they arrive.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently, ensuring fair and timely seating.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and highlighting specials.
- Answer incoming calls and assist guests with reservations or inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area.
- Assist with light cleaning duties and table setup as needed.
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism and direct them to management when necessary.
- Thank guests warmly as they depart and invite them to return.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Must be available for night and weekend shifts.
