Job Description
Join the XPO Logistics team as a Shipping Packer in our state-of-the-art facility in New Port Richey, FL. This is a full-time position offering stable employment with 100% indoor work, ensuring comfort regardless of the season. As a Shipping Packer, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operation, responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing outgoing shipments. You’ll work in a fast-paced yet organized environment, ensuring products are packed according to standards, labeled correctly, and ready for timely distribution. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label various products for shipment.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Load and unload packages and materials.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily packing targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
