Job Description
Join Target as a Textile Warehouse Hand in Vacaville, CA, and become an essential part of our logistics team focused on clothing and fabric. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and preparation of textile products, ensuring they move smoothly through our distribution network. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of clothing, fabric rolls, and apparel items, verifying quantities and checking for quality discrepancies.
- Accurately sort, label, and store textile products in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.
- Pick and prepare clothing and fabric orders for outbound shipment to stores and online guests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to packaging standards.
- Operate various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to maintain precise stock levels of textile goods.
- Identify and report any damaged, defective, or incorrect textile products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the textile section of the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, operational guidelines, and quality control standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes, bundles, and fabric rolls (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling various types of textile products.
- Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail environment, especially with apparel or textile products.

- Understanding of basic quality control processes for fabrics and clothing.
