Job Description
Join the Target team as a Retail Warehouse Associate in Cleveland, OH! This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and prepared for shipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth flow of goods through our distribution network. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise, verifying quantities and checking for damages.
- Accurately sort, store, and organize products within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly identified and securely prepared.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to maintaining accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and verification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or similar fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
