Job Description

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking variety, challenge, and increased compensation? Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, across multiple units.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, adhering to all documentation standards.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed.
  • Adapt quickly to new unit environments, patient populations, and team dynamics.

Required Skills

  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to float between various units (e.g., Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ER).
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN).
  • Experience in multiple acute care specialties.
