Job Description
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking variety, challenge, and increased compensation? Banner Health in Greeley, CO, is looking for highly skilled and adaptable Float Pool Nurses to join our dedicated team. This unique opportunity allows you to rotate through various units, expanding your clinical expertise while enjoying a premium base pay. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to diverse patient populations across different specialties, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, across multiple units.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses according to established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, adhering to all documentation standards.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed.
- Adapt quickly to new unit environments, patient populations, and team dynamics.
Required Skills
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to float between various units (e.g., Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ER).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN).
- Experience in multiple acute care specialties.
