Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Inventory Analyst to join our innovative AI Retail team in Moreno Valley, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels across various product categories and distribution points.
- Support the analysis of sales data, inventory turns, and promotional impacts using AI-driven tools.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to develop and refine inventory forecasting models and strategies.
- Identify discrepancies and root causes for inventory variances and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, stockouts, overstocks, and other key metrics.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain processes and leveraging new AI technologies.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within our systems and ensure data integrity.
- Learn and apply best practices in retail inventory management and AI applications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles or retail operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or project experience in data analysis, supply chain, or retail.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
