Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analytics Specialist with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI) to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial for leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimize business processes, and unlock new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be adept at transforming complex datasets into actionable insights using advanced analytical techniques, AI models, and compelling data visualizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and ETL processes for various business units.
- Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to identify trends, predict outcomes, and automate data analysis tasks.
- Create insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on large datasets to uncover root causes, identify opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all analytical projects.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data analytics technologies to continuously improve our capabilities.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data analytics and BI.
- Present complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn).
- Expertise in data modeling, database design, and ETL processes.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Certifications in relevant BI tools or cloud data platforms.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
