Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and efficient Pharmacy Data Processor to join our remote team. This is a full-time, 100% remote position focused on high-volume data entry, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical pharmacy data. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly support our mission to provide optimal pharmacy care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry of prescription information, patient demographics, and other pharmacy-related data with speed and accuracy.
- Verify data discrepancies and correct errors promptly to maintain data integrity and compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and other compliance standards for data handling and patient privacy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information.
- Identify and escalate complex data issues or system errors to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform high-volume data entry with exceptional speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of pharmacy terminology or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Familiarity with medical and pharmacy terminology.
- Experience with various data entry software and pharmacy management systems.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
