No prior experience is required – we provide all the necessary training to become a certified pest control professional. Key Responsibilities
- Complete Orkin's comprehensive paid training program to become a licensed Pest Control Technician.
- Learn to identify various pests, understand their biology, and implement effective treatment plans.
- Apply pest control products safely and efficiently in residential and commercial settings.
- Operate and maintain company vehicle and equipment according to safety standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining services and answering questions.
- Document service visits, treatments, and customer interactions accurately.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Manage assigned route efficiently to meet service schedules.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, crawling, and working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply product label directions.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a field-based role.
- Basic understanding of pest control principles (not required, but a plus).
- Mechanical aptitude.
