Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Profile & Credential Verifier to join our Data Security team in Sainte-Foy, Quebec City. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and authenticity of user profiles and access credentials within our secure systems. You will play a vital part in upholding our robust data security standards, preventing unauthorized access, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to accuracy, and a foundational understanding of data security principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of user profiles and access credential requests against established criteria and documentation.
- Perform thorough background checks and cross-referencing of information to validate identity and authorization levels.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or suspicious activities related to profile and credential information.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and security teams to resolve verification issues and ensure timely processing of legitimate requests.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all verification activities, findings, and resolutions.
- Assist in the development and refinement of verification procedures and security protocols.
- Stay informed about current data security best practices, identity management trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support for internal and external audits related to access management and data integrity.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple verification tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with data entry and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a verification, compliance, or administrative role with a focus on data accuracy.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) systems.
- Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA).
