Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight on time and without damage, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Manage fuel efficiency and operational costs to maximize profitability within the lease-purchase agreement.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and records of hours of service, mileage, and expenses.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and maintenance personnel.
- Secure freight properly to prevent shifting and damage during transit.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum of 6 months verifiable OTR experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of OTR driving experience with a major carrier
- Experience with various types of freight (e.g., dry van, reefer)
- Basic understanding of business operations and financial management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
