Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate for afternoon and evening shifts. This crucial role is the first point of contact for our students, embodying the warm and inviting spirit of Yoga Tree Norwich. You will be responsible for managing all front desk operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients, and contributing to the positive atmosphere of our studio. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all clients and visitors, ensuring a friendly and welcoming studio environment.
  • Manage client check-ins, bookings, and class registrations efficiently using our studio software.
  • Handle membership inquiries, new sign-ups, and process payments accurately.
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing comprehensive information about classes, workshops, and studio policies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and retail space.
  • Assist with retail sales, product display, and inventory management.
  • Educate clients about studio offerings, promotions, and upcoming events.
  • Resolve client issues and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Collaborate with instructors and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare the studio for evening classes and assist with closing procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and willingness to learn studio management software (e.g., Mindbody).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Reliability and punctuality for afternoon and evening shifts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or front desk role, preferably in a fitness or wellness setting.
  • A genuine passion for yoga, health, and wellness.
  • Familiarity with studio booking software.
  • Basic first aid certification.
