Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Specialist to join our growing team in Fontana, CA. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems for commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, materials, and safety protocols. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and working effectively within a team environment. CoS (Certificate of Sponsorship) is available for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain different types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofs.
- Inspect roofs to identify damage, leaks, and other issues.
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions.
- Apply sealants, coatings, and other protective materials.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
- Clean and prepare work sites, ensuring proper disposal of debris.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any potential issues.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair
- Familiarity with various roofing materials and techniques
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with commercial roofing projects
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
