Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with flight bookings, rebookings, cancellations, and changes via phone, email, and chat.
- Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, fares, baggage policies, and travel requirements.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
- Process payments and handle sensitive customer data in compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Air Canada's products, services, and current promotions.
- Collaborate with other departments to address complex customer needs and ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and procedures for ticketing and customer service.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the travel or airline industry.
- Fluency in French or another additional language.
- Familiarity with GDS (Global Distribution System) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
