Job Description

We are seeking a highly discerning and discreet Fine Dining Evaluator to join our quality assurance team in the Jackson Hole region. In this unique role, you will be responsible for anonymously assessing and reporting on the dining experiences across various high-end establishments, ensuring they meet the stringent standards of luxury, culinary artistry, and impeccable service. This position requires an exceptional palate, keen observational skills, and a professional demeanor, allowing you to provide objective and detailed feedback that contributes directly to enhancing our world-class offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct unannounced and anonymous evaluations of assigned fine dining establishments, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Rigorously assess all aspects of the dining experience, including food quality, presentation, ingredient sourcing, beverage pairings, service efficiency, staff knowledge, ambiance, and cleanliness.
  • Formulate comprehensive, objective, and well-structured written reports detailing observations, findings, and recommendations.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding assignments, observations, and company-sensitive information.
  • Adhere to established evaluation criteria and scoring systems to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Represent the standards of luxury and professionalism expected by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts at all times.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance management to discuss findings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional palate and a deep understanding of culinary techniques, ingredients, and global cuisines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury hospitality, culinary arts, food criticism, or a related quality assurance role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Certifications in food safety or wine knowledge (e.g., Sommelier, WSET).
  • Familiarity with various restaurant operational models and service standards.
  • Knowledge of current fine dining trends and gastronomic innovations.
