Job Description
Are you passionate about helping young people kickstart their careers? Randstad is seeking a motivated Online Human Resources Assistant to support our recruitment efforts specifically targeting 18-year-old teens. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in HR and recruitment from a remote setting. You will play a crucial role in identifying, engaging, and guiding young candidates through their first steps into the professional world, all from the comfort of your home office. This position is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in posting job openings on various online platforms tailored for young adults.
- Screen applications and resumes specifically from 18-year-old candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule virtual interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Communicate regularly with candidates, providing updates and answering questions about the recruitment process.
- Maintain and update candidate databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Assist with virtual career fair preparation and online outreach initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruitment teams as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using online communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, instant messaging).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- High level of empathy and understanding for young job seekers.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, administrative, or volunteer role.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- A strong interest in human resources, youth development, or career counseling.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
