Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apple Sustainability Coordinator with a strong focus on Green Tech to join our global environmental initiatives. This 100% remote role will be instrumental in supporting Apple’s ambitious environmental goals, particularly in the integration and promotion of green technologies across our operations and supply chain. You will work closely with various internal teams and external partners to track progress, report on key metrics, and coordinate projects that advance our commitment to a carbon-neutral future and circular economy principles. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track progress for various green technology projects and sustainability initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies focused on renewable energy, waste reduction, and resource efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and report on environmental performance data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and supply chain teams on green tech integration.
- Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Research emerging green technologies and best practices to inform Apple's sustainability roadmap.
- Organize and manage documentation related to sustainability certifications, audits, and compliance.
- Support engagement with suppliers and partners on environmental performance improvements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a sustainability coordination or project management role, preferably within a technology or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of environmental sustainability principles, green technologies (e.g., renewable energy, circular economy, sustainable materials), and relevant frameworks.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant sustainability or environmental field.
- Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) or environmental impact modeling.
- Familiarity with global environmental regulations and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, CDP).
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience working with remote teams across different time zones.
