Job Description

Music & Arts in Knoxville, TN is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-time Woodwind Instructor specializing in Flute and Clarinet. This role is perfect for a dedicated musician and educator who loves to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. You will be responsible for providing engaging, personalized one-on-one lessons, helping students develop their technical proficiency, musicality, and a lifelong appreciation for woodwind instruments. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, individualized flute and clarinet instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and other performance opportunities.
  • Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians regarding progress and goals.
  • Stay current with pedagogical techniques and musical trends for woodwind instruments.
  • Assist with student registration and scheduling as needed.
