Job Description

Boots UK is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Wigs & Hairpiece Trainee to join our specialized healthcare services team in Leeds. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training in fitting, styling, and maintaining wigs and hairpieces for individuals experiencing hair loss due due to medical conditions, treatment, or other reasons. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients regain confidence and feel their best, working within a supportive and professional healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of wig and hairpiece consultation, fitting, and styling techniques.
- Learn to assess client needs, preferences, and medical considerations to recommend suitable wig and hairpiece options.
- Develop expertise in handling, preparing, and customising a range of synthetic and human hair products.
- Provide empathetic and supportive client consultations, ensuring a comfortable and confidential experience.
- Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and maintaining a clean and organised consultation area.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within a healthcare retail setting.
- Continuously learn about new products, techniques, and industry best practices.
