Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Night Fill Assistant to join our innovative retail operations team. This unique role leverages technology to manage and optimize our night fill processes from a remote location. While the traditional Night Fill Assistant primarily involves physical stocking, this position focuses on the strategic, analytical, and coordinative aspects that can be performed remotely. You will be instrumental in ensuring our stores are perfectly stocked and ready for customers by analyzing inventory data, coordinating with on-site teams, and optimizing stock flow. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a critical retail function without needing to be physically present in a store.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time inventory levels and sales data to forecast stock needs for night fill operations.
- Utilize inventory management software to generate stock orders and direct product allocation remotely.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with on-site night teams (e.g., Night Managers, stockers) via digital platforms to ensure efficient execution of fill plans.
- Identify and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions from a remote workstation.
- Develop and update detailed stock placement plans and layouts based on store planograms and sales trends.
- Generate comprehensive reports on night fill efficiency, stock turn, and potential issues.
- Provide remote support and guidance to store teams on best practices for stock rotation, display, and organization.
- Participate in virtual team meetings to discuss operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management and data security.
