Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated WFH Document Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical business documents across various departments. This position demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards for document control and compliance, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, proofread, and edit a wide range of documents including reports, presentations, contracts, and internal communications for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and adherence to company style guides.
- Ensure all documents comply with established regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage document version control, archiving, and retrieval processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary information and clarify document requirements.
- Utilize document management systems and other software tools to organize and track documentation.
- Identify and implement improvements in document processing workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Prepare documents for final distribution, ensuring proper formatting and presentation.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with document management systems (DMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience (2+ years) in a document control, editorial, or administrative role within a corporate or professional services environment.
- Experience with compliance or regulatory documentation.
- Knowledge of SharePoint or other collaboration platforms.
