Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Deer Park, TX. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our distribution center, ensuring that products are accurately received, stored, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with loading trucks and other outbound logistics as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Deer Park, TX facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Proven track record of strong work ethic and punctuality.
