Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Team Coordinator to join our dynamic remote team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and successful delivery of various projects by coordinating tasks, managing communication, and fostering a collaborative environment among our dispersed team members. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a meticulous approach to detail, and a strong understanding of virtual collaboration tools and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track project tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is communicated effectively.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and other virtual gatherings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
- Manage communication channels, ensuring information flows seamlessly between team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Support project managers in resource allocation, scheduling, and risk identification for remote projects.
- Onboard new remote team members, ensuring they have access to necessary tools and understand team protocols.
- Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring all files are organized and accessible in shared drives.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to virtual collaboration tools and provide support to team members.
- Promote a positive and inclusive remote work culture, encouraging team engagement and well-being.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience with virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
