Job Description

Broadcom is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Event Coordinator with a specific focus on Google product launches. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning, executing, and optimizing virtual events designed to showcase Google’s latest innovations to a global audience. You will work closely with marketing teams, product managers, and external vendors to deliver seamless, engaging, and high-impact virtual experiences. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for technology, and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of virtual events, including platform setup (e.g., Zoom Events, Google Meet, Webex Events), registration management, and technical support.
  • Develop and manage detailed event timelines, budgets, and communication plans for Google product launches.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, sales) to define event objectives, content, and target audiences.
  • Manage external vendors and agencies for event production, graphic design, and technical services.
  • Oversee content preparation, including presentations, videos, and interactive elements, ensuring brand consistency and messaging accuracy.
  • Conduct pre-event dry runs and rehearsals with speakers and technical teams.
  • Provide real-time support during live virtual events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth attendee experience.
  • Analyze event performance data, generate post-event reports, and recommend improvements for future events.
  • Stay current with virtual event technology trends and best practices.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, with a strong focus on virtual events.
  • Proven experience working with or understanding of major tech product launches, preferably Google products.
  • Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Webex Events, Hopin, Remo, Google Workspace).
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo).
  • Familiarity with Google's product ecosystem and launch processes.
  • Certification in event planning or virtual event management.
