Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Valet Parking Attendants to join our dynamic team at The Walper Hotel. This is a fast-paced role perfect for individuals who thrive in a high-energy environment and enjoy interacting with guests. You will be the first and last point of contact for many of our visitors, making a lasting impression through your professional and courteous service. A significant part of your compensation will include daily cash tips, rewarding your excellent service directly. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and vehicle access.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hotel parking policies to ensure guest and vehicle safety.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Assist guests with directions, local information, and other inquiries as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the valet parking area.
- Report any vehicle damage or security concerns immediately to management.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods, and lift up to 25 kg.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, parking, or hospitality role.
- Familiarity with the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively during peak hours.
