Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Valet Key Runner to join our dynamic team. This active role is crucial to the efficient operation of our valet service, ensuring quick and safe retrieval and parking of guest vehicles. You will be responsible for maintaining a rapid pace, navigating between our valet stand and parking facilities, and providing seamless support to our valet attendants. This position requires excellent physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely retrieve and deliver vehicle keys between the valet stand and designated parking areas.
- Maintain a brisk and consistent pace to ensure timely service, often requiring sprinting or fast walking.
- Assist valet attendants with vehicle parking and retrieval as needed, including opening doors and loading luggage.
- Ensure accurate key organization and tracking to prevent errors and delays.
- Communicate effectively with valet attendants and front desk staff regarding vehicle status and guest needs.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and traffic regulations within the parking facilities.
- Report any vehicle damage or security concerns immediately to a supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the valet and front office operations.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina, capable of frequent running, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, hospitality, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
- Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmission.
