Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick grocery and general merchandise items from store shelves based on customer online orders.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all selected products, especially perishable items.
- Organize and stage completed orders for efficient pickup or delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding product availability or order discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other store duties as needed to support overall store operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy to use order picking technology.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or warehouse environment (not required, but a plus).
