Job Description

Quarriers is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Trainee Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Finnieston, Glasgow. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in mental health support to kickstart a rewarding career. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred emotional and practical support to individuals living with mental health conditions.
- Assist individuals in managing daily living tasks, promoting independence and well-being.
- Support individuals to access community resources and engage in social activities.
- Work collaboratively with senior support workers and healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of support provided.
- Participate actively in all mandatory training and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with individuals, their families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all Quarriers policies, procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
