Job Description

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a dedicated Tools Management Tasker to join our team in Sainte-Foy, Quebec City. This is a crucial full-time, on-site role responsible for ensuring our garage and tool areas are perfectly organized, efficient, and safe. As a Tools Management Tasker, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously organize and maintain our extensive collection of tools, equipment, and supplies. This includes everything from ensuring each item has its designated place to implementing and managing an effective inventory system. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation and safety of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, clean, and maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies within the garage and designated storage areas.
  • Implement and diligently uphold an efficient inventory tracking system for all tools and equipment.
  • Regularly inspect tools for damage, wear, or missing components and report findings for repair or replacement.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the garage workspace.
  • Assist with the receiving, stocking, and proper placement of new tool inventory.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver objects of moderate to heavy weight safely.
  • Basic familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a garage, warehouse, or similar inventory-focused environment.
  • Exposure to or experience with inventory management software or tracking methodologies.
  • A valid Quebec Class 5 driver's license.
