Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Warehouse Laborer to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. This position is vital to our distribution network, involving a variety of tasks crucial for the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Pick, pack, and label customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate various warehouse equipment such such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if needed, or certification preferred).
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
