Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Student Document Sorter to join our administrative team. This part-time position is ideal for students looking to gain valuable experience in an office environment, focusing on records management and organization. You will be responsible for accurately sorting, filing, and maintaining various types of documents, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of our vital records. This role requires a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality, playing a crucial part in supporting our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and file physical and digital documents according to established protocols and naming conventions.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring all records are easily retrievable.
- Perform quality checks on filed documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the archiving and retrieval of historical records as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Support administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and data entry.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient record management.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes of documents (up to 20 lbs).
