Job Description
Are you passionate about live music and looking for flexible, event-based work? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Stagehands for casual venue work in Indianapolis. This role involves assisting with the setup, operation, and tear-down of various live music events. If you’re physically fit, a team player, and eager to contribute to the magic of live performances, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of stage equipment, instruments, and production gear.
- Set up and tear down stages, backline equipment, lighting rigs, sound systems, and other production elements.
- Follow precise instructions from production managers, lighting designers, sound engineers, and other crew members.
- Ensure all equipment is handled safely and efficiently, adhering to venue and company safety protocols.
- Help maintain a clean and organized backstage area before, during, and after events.
- Support artists and touring crews with their technical and logistical needs as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth execution of live events.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for evening and weekend events.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures for working with stage equipment and electrical systems.
- Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a stagehand, production assistant, or in a similar role within live events.
- Knowledge of basic rigging, sound, or lighting equipment operation.
- Familiarity with various types of musical instruments and stage setups.
- Certification in first aid or theatrical safety (e.g., OSHA 10/30).
