Job Description
Join Sunrun as a Solar Panel Cleaner and play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and longevity of our customers’ solar energy systems. This physically demanding position involves working on rooftops to ensure solar panels are free from dirt, dust, and debris, optimizing their performance. We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable with heights and committed to safety. Key Responsibilities
- Safely access and work on various rooftop types to clean solar panels.
- Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and techniques to remove dirt, dust, pollen, bird droppings, and other debris.
- Inspect panels for any visible damage or issues during cleaning and report findings.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines for working at heights and with electrical equipment.
- Maintain and care for cleaning tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to safely work at heights and on sloped roofs.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Commitment to safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor manual labor or construction.
- Knowledge of basic solar panel functionality.
