Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Shopify Specialist with a keen focus on the Wellness & Health sector to join our dynamic digital team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and expanding our Shopify e-commerce platforms dedicated to health and wellness products. You will work closely with marketing, product, and IT teams to ensure our online stores provide an exceptional customer experience, drive sales, and effectively communicate our brand’s health and wellness mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem, a passion for digital commerce, and a genuine interest in the health and wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our Shopify stores, including product listings, collections, content updates, and theme modifications.
- Implement and test new Shopify features, apps, and integrations to enhance site functionality and user experience.
- Optimize store performance for speed, SEO, and conversion rates, with a specific focus on health and wellness product categorization and searchability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to launch new products, promotions, and campaigns, ensuring accurate and engaging product presentation.
- Monitor site analytics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform, apps, and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in e-commerce and the wellness industry.
- Assist in the development and execution of A/B tests to optimize conversion funnels and user journeys.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Shopify platform (Shopify Plus experience is a strong asset).
- Proficiency in Shopify theme customization (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in the health, wellness, or beauty industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with specific Shopify apps relevant to subscriptions, loyalty programs, or health product compliance.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing for e-commerce.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
