Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Specialist with a passion for electronics and gadgets to join our dynamic e-commerce team in Calgary. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our Shopify e-commerce platform, specifically for our extensive electronics and gadget categories. The specialist will be responsible for product listings, store performance, SEO, and ensuring a seamless customer experience for our cutting-edge tech products. You will work closely with marketing, merchandising, and IT teams to drive online sales and platform efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product catalogs on Shopify, focusing on electronics and gadgets.
- Optimize product descriptions, images, and metadata for SEO and user engagement, ensuring high visibility for our product range.
- Implement and test new features, apps, and integrations within the Shopify ecosystem to enhance site functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure site stability and responsiveness across all devices.
- Collaborate effectively with marketing teams to launch promotions, campaigns, and product launches successfully.
- Analyze e-commerce data, sales trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure all product listings, content, and promotional materials comply with brand guidelines and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and competitive landscape, especially within the electronics sector.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) with Shopify platform management and administration.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, particularly within the electronics and gadget retail industry.
- Proficiency in product data management, inventory synchronization, and catalog organization.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, Google Analytics, and other relevant e-commerce analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling product narratives.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
