Job Description
Clearly.ca is seeking a talented and data-driven Shopify Specialist focused on Customer Retention & Loyalty. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and optimizing strategies to enhance customer lifetime value, reduce churn, and foster a strong sense of loyalty among our customer base. Leveraging your expertise in Shopify and e-commerce best practices, you will manage loyalty programs, personalized customer journeys, and targeted retention campaigns. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive customer retention strategies tailored to the Shopify platform.
- Manage and optimize existing loyalty programs, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Design and implement personalized customer journeys across various touchpoints (email, SMS, in-app notifications) using Shopify apps and integrations.
- Analyze customer data and behavior to identify key churn indicators and develop proactive interventions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a consistent and delightful customer experience.
- Monitor, report, and present on key retention metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, apps, and e-commerce trends related to customer loyalty and retention.
- A/B test different strategies and campaigns to maximize effectiveness.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience working with Shopify in an e-commerce context.
- Proven experience in developing and executing customer retention and loyalty programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics).
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with specific loyalty platforms (e.g., Smile.io, LoyaltyLion).
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in the retail or optical industry.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization.
