Job Description
Join Thames Water as a Sewer & Drain Maintenance Trainee and embark on a rewarding career in the public sector. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn all aspects of sewer and drain maintenance.
- Assist experienced technicians in inspecting, cleaning, and repairing sewer lines and drains using various tools and equipment.
- Respond to emergency call-outs for blockages, overflows, and other incidents.
- Operate jetting equipment, CCTV inspection cameras, and other specialist machinery under supervision.
- Adhere to strict health and safety procedures and environmental regulations at all times.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working order.
Required Skills
- Willingness to learn and commit to a demanding training program.

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A valid UK driving license (or willingness to obtain one during the traineeship).
