Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shopify Specialist with a keen focus on the Beauty & Cosmetics niche to join our dynamic e-commerce team in Montreal. You will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and enhancing our Shopify e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, marketing savvy, and a deep understanding of the beauty industry’s digital landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain day-to-day operations of multiple Shopify stores, ensuring product listings, pricing, inventory, and content are accurate and up-to-date.
- Implement and optimize Shopify apps and integrations to enhance site functionality, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to launch new products, promotions, and campaigns, ensuring timely and flawless execution on the e-commerce platform.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve site traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with SEO best practices for all product pages, collection pages, and site content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Shopify platform, themes, apps, or integrations.
- Stay informed about the latest Shopify features, e-commerce trends, and beauty industry developments to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Assist in the development and deployment of new website features and functionalities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Shopify Specialist, E-commerce Manager, or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Strong understanding of Shopify platform architecture, functionality, and the Liquid templating language.
- Proficiency with front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) and data-driven decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in French is a significant asset.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Direct experience working within the Beauty, Cosmetics, or Luxury Goods industry.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Knowledge of various ERP, CRM, and fulfillment system integrations with Shopify.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Certification in Shopify development or platform management.
