Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shopify Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform. This critical role ensures our Shopify store runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, providing an optimal customer experience. You will be responsible for managing product listings, inventory synchronization, content updates, order fulfillment processes, and site performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and a proactive approach to problem-solving and site optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all product listings, ensuring accurate information, imagery, and pricing.
- Oversee inventory synchronization between Shopify and internal systems, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Implement content updates, promotions, and campaigns as directed by marketing and merchandising teams.
- Monitor website performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, broken links, or display errors.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless customer journeys and efficient order processing.
- Manage app integrations and ensure their smooth operation within the Shopify environment.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure data integrity, best practices, and a consistent brand experience.
- Provide regular reports on site performance, sales data, and key e-commerce metrics.
- Stay informed on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and competitor activities to recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of direct experience managing a Shopify Plus store for a retail brand.
- Proficiency with Shopify's administrative panel, themes, apps, and functionalities.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor site adjustments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and A/B testing platforms.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS) and ERP integrations.
- Project management experience in an agile environment.
