Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Shopify Expert to join our e-commerce team, specifically focusing on our sustainable and eco-friendly brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Shopify platform, a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, and a genuine interest in promoting environmentally conscious brands and products. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Shopify stores, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience for our sustainable product lines. This role is pivotal in driving our commitment to a greener future through digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Shopify e-commerce stores with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly products.
- Implement and customize Shopify themes and apps to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Manage product catalogs, inventory, and order fulfillment processes within Shopify.
- Optimize store performance, loading times, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement conversion-driven strategies and campaigns.
- Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all Shopify development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and sustainable e-commerce practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding Shopify operations.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development and management.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in theme customization and app integration.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, UX/UI best practices, and conversion optimization.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and Google Analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for sustainable and eco-friendly products/brands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with headless commerce or Shopify Plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management system integrations.
- Prior experience working with sustainable or ethical consumer brands.
- Project management experience in an agile environment.
