Job Description
Are you a seasoned Shopify expert with a passion for driving e-commerce success? Bold Commerce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Expert Consultant to join our remote team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your deep platform knowledge and strategic insights to guide merchants, optimize their stores, and implement advanced solutions. You will be instrumental in helping our clients unlock the full potential of their Shopify ecosystem, ensuring they achieve their business objectives. This position offers a high hourly rate for top-tier talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation and strategic guidance to Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants.
- Analyze client requirements and recommend optimal Shopify solutions, including app integrations, custom development, and theme modifications.
- Oversee and participate in the technical implementation and configuration of Shopify stores and Bold Commerce apps.
- Conduct comprehensive store audits, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, design, marketing) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Document solutions, processes, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms.
- Proven expertise in Liquid templating language and Shopify's API.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user experience (UX).
- Experience with third-party app integrations and custom development within the Shopify ecosystem.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Shopify Plus Partner or Expert certification.
- Experience with specific Bold Commerce apps (e.g., Bold Subscriptions, Bold Upsell, Bold Bundles).
- Background in digital marketing, SEO, or analytics.
- Familiarity with modern front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/React).
- Previous consulting experience with e-commerce businesses.
